This Policy applies to our iOS app and seeseen.app website. The data controller for personal information is SeeSeen.

Account & Profile — display name, handle, avatar you provide; platform identifiers from Sign in with Apple/Google.
User‑Generated Content — posts, comments, reactions, media you upload; report/flag submissions.
Location (optional) — only when you choose to attach a place to a post or grant permission during publishing. We do not collect background location.
Device & Usage — app version, OS, language, device model, coarse IP region, crash logs, diagnostics, performance metrics.
Subscription Status — whether you are subscribed and relevant expiration info (no payment card data; Apple handles billing).
Cookies & Local Storage — strictly necessary cookies for security/performance; no third‑party ad tracking cookies.

Provide core features (posting, viewing, translation, search) — contract.
Moderation and safety (review reports, prevent abuse, block/ban) — legitimate interests and legal obligations.
Operate subscriptions and entitlements (permanent posts, translation access) — contract.
Analytics and performance (quality, reliability, capacity planning) — legitimate interests.
Communications and support — legitimate interests.

We use reputable vendors to host, deliver, and secure the Service (e.g., cloud hosting/CDN, logging, analytics). We do not sell personal information.

Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable laws.

Account/profile: for as long as your account is active.
Posts for non‑subscribers: may auto‑expire (e.g., after 7 days).
Posts for subscribers: set to permanent (including eligible past posts).
Diagnostics/logs: typically 30–180 days unless needed longer for security/legal reasons.

GDPR/EEA/UK — access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection.
