1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SeeSeen (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ to use the Service.

3. Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials.
• We support Sign in with Apple/Google and rely on platform identifiers. We do not store your password.
• Notify us of any unauthorized use.

4. Service Access & Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change over time.

5. User‑Generated Content

• You retain ownership of your content.
• You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, translate, adapt, display, and distribute your content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service (e.g., safety review, backups, CDN delivery).
• You represent you have rights to the content you post.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Illegal content or activity; threats, harassment, hate; sexual exploitation; incitement to violence.
• Doxxing or posting personal data of others without consent.
• Spam, scams, malware, scraping that degrades the Service.
• Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.

7. Safety, Reporting & Moderation

• Users can report objectionable content; we aim to review within ~24 hours.
• We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts at our discretion to keep users safe.
• Users can block others to avoid unwanted interactions.

8. Location Features

Location attaches to a post only when you choose during publishing. We do not collect background location.

9. Intellectual Property

SeeSeen, our logos, and the Service design are our IP. You may not copy or create derivative works except as allowed by law.

10. Third‑Party Services

We may integrate third‑party services (e.g., maps, translation). Their terms apply in addition to these Terms.

11. In‑App Purchases & Subscriptions

• Premium is billed via Apple as an auto‑renewing monthly subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID; manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Benefits may include permanent post retention and unlimited translations. Some benefits may apply retroactively to eligible past posts.
• Pricing and offerings may change; taxes may apply.

12. Refunds

Refunds for Apple in‑app purchases are handled by Apple per Apple’s policies.

13. Term & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content or misuse of the Service.

17. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), with exclusive venue in the courts of Taipei, Taiwan, unless a different law is required by your local consumer rules.

18. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in‑app or on this page. Continued use means acceptance.
